Haha, as the name suggests, we are bona fide land owners now.
Suffice to say, this has been months in the making – but finally, after what must have been dozens of property inspections, we’re proud to call a place home.
But not so fast, because although settlement day was earlier this week, we can’t move in yet because it’s a bit chokers with renovations at the moment.
Renovations like…
And
And
And
And oh so much more!
See that’s the biggest culture shock for me, who has lived in apartments all me life – to now living in a house.
The amount of work that has to go in with the upkeep and maintenance, just to keep it ticking along.
Oh but where are my manners!
I haven’t even told you about our home buying journey yet.
But that will have to wait until next time, because for now – it’s back to it.
Promise me you’ll come back OK? Hopefully I have an actual place to SIT in all this madness then.
