Reading Time: 2 Minutes It’s FINISHED! FINALLY! What’s finished? The year? 2024? Um… oh yeah that too. Although I was referring to the end of the holidays for our kids day-care. Oh Lordy… the moment when I dropped off both kids this morning, Tuesday 7th January 2025… indescribable. *Editor’s Note: I had finished and was ready to send this post out yesterday, but due to unforeseen circumstances, I had to delay it until today… still, enjoy. If I had to describe it in one word – it would be pure ecstasy, relief, elation and more than a slight trepidation. 2024 (Personal) Year In Review

By that I mean, MiniFrugalSamurai and BabyFrugalSamurai are off daycare for a couple of weeks given it’s the “holiday” season. And as MrsFrugalSamurai is still rostered on at her work… guess who has the honour of looking after those two fkwits preciouses? Yesterday (day 1) was OK… but today (day 2) was an absolute struggle. Return Of The Donald (And How It Affects Me)
Reading Time: 2 Minutes He’s Back! Who? The Donald of course! The President-elect of the United States. I still can’t quite believe THAT GUY I watched on The Apprentice two decades ago will now be the leader of the free world for the SECOND time. Amazing what the circle of life brings. But frankly speaking, I wouldn’t have voted for either Harris or Trump even if I was eligible. If those two candidates were the “best” which the US had to offer in terms of the presidency, then it’s a pretty sad state of affairs. Sigh. Seems to me that politics these days is all about pandering to whatever extreme left…
