Welcome back guys! I’m a bit saddened this weekend. How come you ask? Well, MrsFrugalSamurai left yours truly yesterday. Nothing long-term (I hope), but she did travel to Europe on a work-trip. Poor her, all that culture and food and warm weather must be tough – hope she’ll be OK. But all good, she can have the warmth of the European sun, I’ve got the warmth of the legions of adoring fans. My friend Bugzy commented on the previous post on the “7 Thoughts to Approach FIRE” in his usual witty and happy-go-lucky manner (he’s a closet leprechaun). But you know, not all of us is blessed with the same green…

4 Things to Consider Before Buying Your “Dream” Home!
“Oh please! Please, at least take a look!” “No! We can’t afford it, move on.” “Come on! We can – it’s not that much, we can do it!” “How much is it again?” “Listed for $1.3m, but think about the space for the kids and it’ll be a place to call home.” “Hmm… what’s the address again?” …. Caution to All Passive Index Investors – Beware the High Winds!
Hai guyz! What’s happening? How was your weekend! Enjoy the winter chill much? Yesterday was pretty insane, waking up at six in the morning so I could be chasing little kids around the park (I’m a soccer referee). The wind chill and gusts felt like playing in a gale on the Arctic Tundra. In fact, it was so bad at one stage that the pegs holding the goals down snapped off and the goals flipped over themselves (they were the fancy mobile goals). Which 4 Main Paths Of Life Are You On – Consistent, Hard, Avant-Garde Or FIRE?
Oh wow Ladies and Gentlemen, What an epic drive that was. I knew Sydney traffic is bad but man oh man, is it ever so bad tonight. What is normally a 40 minute journey took an hour and 50 minutes. Mind you, I don’t mind the traffic – there’s always something to do in the car you see. Eating an early dinner, getting started on the night’s drinking, dirty sexting your partner, levelling up on Clash of Clans – so many things to occupy your time as you drive. Whilst I don’t mind partaking in the above, personally I prefer listening to podcasts and affirmations – it’s usually the only…

Champions League Final Proves That Everyone is Human
Some moments in life will remain with you forever. Those mere seconds are enough to change your life and perspective. In the wee hours of this morning, I watched the finale of the grandest of club football (soccer) competitions – the European Champions League Final. For those who don’t follow sports, or follow football in particular – the champions league final is the creme de la creme of world soccer. It is watched by billions around the world and this year, two pedigree clubs – Real Madrid and Liverpool took each other on after a grueling season. Although I don’t support either team, I still got up early in anticipation…
