Be Grateful for the Little Things!

    May 24, 2018

Morning peak hour, vehicles are bumper to bumper crawling along at a snail’s pace. In the midst of traffic, a lone figure sits upright in the driver’s seat of his car. He slowly rolls down the window to flick his cigarette and glances upon the lone figure in the car. The car windows are up but the car driver’s mouth is visibly moving. His facial features appear locked in pain… Meanwhile inside the car. Music is playing on the car speakers. A sound, likened to the famed…

4 Things I learnt Investing in Cryptocurrency

    May 10, 2018

“A young man stood to inherit $10 million if he could turn $10k into $1m by the end of the month. The young man put the entire $10k into Cryptocurrency and it turned from $10k into $100 million in a matter of days. That was a joke I first heard during the last Crypto boom in late December/early January, a mere 4 months ago. Surely you all remember how social media, mainstream media and our own personal medium were all abuzz with Cryptocurrency…

How Watching Tintin is Changing Me One Step at a Time!

    April 23, 2018

“No Tintin! Don’t go that way!” Said I, whilst on the edge of my seat this afternoon, engrossed in the latest episode of “The Adventures of Tintin”. The plot line was about one of his associates, a lady opera singer – who had lost her extremely valuable Emerald. Of course, like all Tintin stories – there was a happy ending (not that kind, it’s a children’s show for goodness sake). The lesson I got out of the episode, is if you ever lose a precious gemstone the size of your fist – don’t investigate your personal maid, or your gambling addict pianist. Emeralds are created when rocks are soaked in…

    6 Cons To Buying Off-The-Plan

    April 18, 2018

Hay guys and gals! How y’all doin! The year keeps on rumbling on doesn’t it, we are almost a third of the way through, how are you going with your goals and plans for this year? If you’re like me – who hasn’t ticked anything off yet, don’t fret! Still plenty of time to get started, but get started you must. Following on from the post last time (here) about buying real estate off-the-plan (new build whether apartment or house), I received quite a number of messages regarding people’s stories of their successes and failures of purchasing off-the-plan. Suffice to say, although some people have done quite well with this…
