Reading Time: 2 Minutes Hm, looks like things are getting back to normal here in Oz. Thank goodness for that I say, though spare a thought for those Aussies stuck overseas. Because the 2nd wave is washing over the UK, Eurozone and part of the US (or is that the first wave?) Hello uncertainty, my old friend. Oh and speaking of uncertainty… US elections anyone? What a crazy rollercoaster that promises to be. It doesn’t really affect you and I of course, but I’ve always found the US Presidential race the most entertaining reality TV on the planet… so I’ll be well tuned in. A Shout Out To Aussies Stranded Overseas
Reading Time: 2 Minutes Attention! Today’s post is about bringing awareness to an issue you might not have thought about – and that is the plight of thousands of Aussies stuck overseas, and wanting to come home. What even is stage 5? I have no idea. It’s pretty full on at the moment, and can only hope that the nation can get through this together. Financially speaking, there was plenty of talk for both the property market and ASX dropping with the coming of the 2nd wave. This… hasn’t… happened. Will it ever? Again, no idea to be honest (my confusion is a recurring theme) as I’ve long stopped caring about forecasts…

Roy Morgan is one of the most respected and leading research houses out there and certainly a data source the market relies on. And their business confidence report is one of the most closely watched… because well… jobs, jobs and jobs! Oh yeah, and also business spending and investment. Suffice to say business confidence has plunged again last month. Naturally, the fall in July was driven by businesses becoming increasingly concerned about Australia’s…
