What’s up people! Hope everyone had a great weekend! What’d you get up to? Uh huh, right, yeah cool, anyway so like I totes got married on Sunday. Was certainly a long time coming, and I for one am looking forward to the future together with MrsFrugalSamurai (starting with no longer typing out MrsFrugalSamurai-to-be, frigging long word – glad to see the back of you). A friend of mine aptly named “a tall, slender-leaved plant of the grass family” jokingly said he wanted 6, yes SIX learnings from our wedding. What? No well wishes for the family? No dirty jokes about the wedding night? No sage advice for the newly…

Final Learnings From Planning a Wedding (Almost Time)
Yes indeedy, ladies and gentlemen – it’s almost time. Time for what? For the wedding of the century of course. Oh you mean Harry and Meghan? (Thoughtful pause) No… no I don’t mean Harry and Meghan… “rubs chin” but yes, yes you’re right – that would be quite a wedding. No, I meant the wedding between yours truly and MrsFrugalSamurai-to-be. It’s now mere days away. Wait, do I know you? Probably not, not many people do – I’m like the wind you see, billowing in the summer breeze, roaring in the winter gales, whispering through the Autumn leaves, caressing the… ahem, apologies, I got sidetracked. 9 Thoughts From the Birthday Boy (A Digital Reflection)
What’s up folks! Hope everyone had a long and refreshing Easter weekend. Judging from the stories and facial tans at the office, seems like many people took this opportunity to sit around the beach enjoying the last rays of the Autumn sun. Sounds pretty chilled right (ha! See what I did there)? Not much different for MrsFrugalSamurai-to-be and I, we were mainly knocking off some final wedding preparations (wedding series here), catching up with friends and hanging out with family. Pretty standard stuff “rubs nose on sleeve”. Life’s been a bit full on recently so I’m very grateful for these few days to recalibrate and catch a breather. And wouldn’t…

Travelling, Just Do It!
Scene: Airport lounge. Time: Morning peak hour. Camera pans to a lone individual hunched over his laptop amidst the noise and chaos of Kuala Lumpur International Airport… he starts to type… Oh Wooooow! Ladies and Gentlemen, to say that this trip has been an epic adventure would not be justifiable in terms of epic adventures. I don’t think I’ve ever had one of these holidays for a long, long time. Seriously, need another holiday just to recover from this trip – somewhere which allows me to sit on a beach and pretend to be comatose for 8 hours at a time. The eye-opening encounters and unique experiences in the past…

Kuala Lumpur (Second Leg)
What’s up guys! It’s me again – and this time I’m in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. It’s the second and final leg of my SEA (South East Asia) trip with my friends and we’ve just landed in KL. I’m really looking forward to some more low-key adventures here in Malaysia because Thailand was just an assault on the senses. The noise, people, lights, traffic, smells of Bangkok hits you like a tsunami. So it’s with a lot of agreement that we decided to have more of R&R (rest and relaxation) here in KL. Fine by me! Been here less than a day but there are many things I’ve noticed about KL……
